1st Thursday Women's Luncheon

Thursday, May 2 | 11:30 am | Dining Hall

We are delighted to welcome featured speaker, WHPC Member and Deacon, Wendy Lingan

Wendy has been attending WHPC for 12 years with her husband, Chris. She is a working mother of 3 tween thru college-aged children and has been involved with both children's and youth ministry teams at WHPC. Wendy will talk about her sometimes-imperfect lifelong journey as a Christian, and she will focus on caregiving and community. As she creates data analyses by trade, she will likely incorporate those as a part of her storytelling.

This is a fun, relaxed way to meet other women, so please come and invite a friend! Childcare is provided with a reservation. We look forward to connecting with you at the luncheon. Please contact Teresa Ward with any questions.

Sponsored by Preferred Path Ministry at Westlake Hills Presbyterian Church (WHPC)

News and social media assault us daily with “hot topics” that divide and create conflict among co-workers, families, friends, and neighbors.

Depending on the place and people, these topics may seem “too hot to handle.”

Fortunately, there are tools growing from scripture and behavioral science that offer an alternative to shouting matches, fearful retreat, or denial.

On the Sundays between Easter and Mother’s Day 2023, join us as we examine and practice four tools borrowed from the Preferred Path Core Course that can lead to understanding and breaking new ground across the political and cultural divides.
