Pop Up Sunday is the day when ALL students will be promoted as they Pop Up to the next grade level. We’ll celebrate, hand out t-shirts, and enjoy celebrating a new milestone. Children’s Ministry will make graduation caps and student ministry will have a pop trivia jeopardy and donuts and kolaches that morning. Friends are also invited to come along & join in the fun!

Join us in celebrating and honoring the Class of 2024 seniors at WHPC! All are invited to the Parlor after worship to participate in signing the senior gift, a framed photo of our cherished stained-glass cross. Let's surround this symbol of faith with the verses that inspire us most. Light refreshments will be served as we enjoy a special slideshow highlighting the remarkable journey of our seniors.

Middle schoolers are invited to join us in the heart of San Antonio this summer, we will serve others by making homes safe, warm, and dry. Students will get the opportunity to gain new skills like working with power tools and tarring roofs (under adult supervision). This project is safe and done along side the empowering staff at Blueprint.

Get ready for some fun and join us for bingo and bouquets! We will have lunch together, a chance to WIN exciting prizes during several rounds of bingo, and end the afternoon by making a Valentines flower bouquet for a loved one.

There will be fun games for middle and high school students to compete in, with a chance to win tickets for our awesome raffle prizes.
Activities include jousting, bungee relay races, and a wrecking ball inflatable. WHPC will provide pizza, so don't worry about dinner.

Playing handbells is a fun and easy way to create beautiful music to honor God. If you know your left hand from your right and can count to 4, you can play bells and chimes! Youth Choir is the perfect place for students 6th-12th grade to meet new friends, sing great music, build teamwork, and honor God through praise. A service of lessons and carols with Christmas Choir, Worship Team, and Brass to celebrate the birth of our Savior.

This full Sunday Morning service will include scripture, carols, and a message celebrating our Savior’s birth. There will also be an instant children’s pageant! Any child attending can wear a church provided costume and participate in the story. Everyone is welcome and childcare will be provided for Pre-K and younger.

We are excited to kick off Fall Sunday School and get to know your kids! It's time for all of our kids and youth to gather and reconnect with their Sunday School class! If your child is new, this is a great time to form new friendships and form faith at WHPC!
Sunday School teachers and leaders will be ready to greet your kids and youth for breakfast, fun, and Bible study. If you have a Pre-schooler, please bring them to Room 101 for their party with Ms. Judy and her crew!
What should parents and guardians do after dropping off your kids? Go upstairs, grab a cup of coffee and join one of the Adult Sunday classes. There is something for everyone!

This Food Drive is for Hungry Souls, a program that provides evening and weekend meals for kids in Austin ISD who qualify for free breakfast and lunch programs. We have an opportunity to provide breakfast items for this population through our collection this month. We will start collecting oatmeal and pancake mix. You can bring items to the Neighborhood Block Party or drop them off at the church in the blue bins (usually used for Manos Blue Bags).

All 6th - 12th graders are welcome to join us for Color Wars. This fun and crazy event is an opportunity to gather for some chaotic fun, and is an easy onramp for new students and those who need a church community. Participants will compete in several EPIC color competitions, including Dodge-paint, and an “Everyone for Themselves” paint war!

We hope your 5th grader will join us for all 4 weeks or when they can come to learn on their connection to their faith and community.

Calling all Middle Schoolers to join us at Mo Ranch, in Hunt, TX for a two-night weekend Midwinter Youth Retreat on January 13-15! There will be loads of fun, fellowship with other churches from the Austin area, kayaking, ropes courses, campfires and much more. The Theme is "Do You Love Me?" and we will learn about God’s immense love for us.
